Sunday, June 15 - The PYA Tour "Farewell" concert was presented in the courthouse plaza in Redwood City! It was quite well attended! | ||

| Tuesday, June 17 - Weds, June 18. Most of us travelled on United Airlines flight from SFO directly to Beijing. | ||

| A select few families travelled on Canadian Airlines. They got to experience the beautiful Vancouver airport for a few hours. | ||

| Our Polar route took us over some pretty territory. | ||

| In Beijing, we had to line up in a specified order to go through Customs, per our group visa. | ||

| For mysterious reasons, we had to line all the instruments up so they could be counted, and rolled out of the terminal on a cart. | It seems that signs everywhere in Beijing are in Chinese and English, sometimes with amusing results | |

| Outside the terminal, our 3 buses were waiting. | This is our Beijing Hotel (the Best Western, on the left...). We were warmly welcomed. | |
